Family Photos in the Desert

I got to spend a magical evening at The La Quinta Resort on Friday. There were beautiful arches, green vines, smooth waterfalls, long winding sidewalks, and a red carpet. The Shelton family was in town for a special event. They were dressed in long, shimmery gold dresses and gold ties with black suits! They looked immaculate and I had some great things in store for this family.

Christmas Photo Sessions

There is something very special about celebrating Christmas time in Palm Springs, CA. The weather is far from frightful with temperatures pushing 90 degrees. So in the studio, I think I created the illusion of photographing far, far away...like in Russia or something. LOL Hey, the weather has to fit the outfit.... Wedding at a Ranch

It was certainly a warm and sunny day on October 27. Perfect day for a wedding! I spent the day at Rancho Marin, a secret ranch in Coachella, CA. Hidden behind the brick walls was this old Spanish-inspired ranch with colorful tiles and beautiful pieces of art. The Bride was stunning in her twinkling gown and glitter shoes. The groom didn't seem a bit nervous, but rather excited! It was a great night of fun, food and festivities. And of course, it wasn't complete without the tears of joy! Congratulations to Michelle and Steve, (and their little girl Lauren.) ~Happily Ever After~

50 Years ago...

It's not very often anymore that you can find a sweet couple who has been in wedded bliss for several years...let alone- 50 years!! That to me is truly amazing! Wilfredo and Hermina didn't want a crazy party to celebrate their 50th anniversary. Instead, they wanted to show the world how much they love each other. I was so humbled by the fact that I got to be the one to help them show what their love means. We spent the morning at the old restaurant which used to be known as Devane's Restaurant in Indio, CA. It was a perfect way to showcase Wilfredo's old western outfit and Hermina's classy soft purple outfit. They blended so nicely with the old wooden door in the background.
